Vedic planetary signification

Hi all, this is my first article about planetary significant in Vedic Astrology. In this article, i am going to explain basically about the planets significant in Vedic Astrology. In Vedic Astrology, there are 9 planets exist for predicting human life and destiny. They are Sun, Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Mercury, Venus, Rahu and Ketu. Each of those planets have their own roles and functionalities in Vedic Astrology. Let me explain the significations of each of the planets.

Sun is the king of the Vedic Astrology planetary where some of it’s significations are

1. Signify authority power own by a person

2. Signify execution power own by a person.

3. Signify managerial ability own by a person.

4. Signify progressiveness by a person in life.

5. Signify level of abilities to get favors from country ruler.

6. Signify level of support and overall help from biological father.

7. Signify level of support and overall help from father in-law.

8. Signify level of status in community to be obtained by a person.

Moon is queen of the Vedic Astrology planetary where some of it’s significations are,

1. Signify level of mentality of a person.

2. Signify level of hospitality of a person.

3. Signify level of fame to be achieved in overall life span.

4. Signify level of help, support and love from mother.

Mercury is the prince of the Vedic Astrology planetary where some of it‘s significations are,

1. Signify communication skill own by a person.

2. Signify to give message from God

3. Signify good and supportive friends and uncles.

4. Signify nerve system in human body.

5. Signify the ability to analyze of an issue correctly to find solution.

Venus is a another prince of Vedic Astrology where some of it’s significations are,

1. Signify love and bed pleasures (sexual contact)

2. Signify love and affection from female partner or wife.

3. Signify appearance in nature (Beauty).

4. Signify life environment of a person.

5. Signify amount of wealth own by a person.

6. Signify attractiveness of a person.

7. Signify progeny.

Saturn, son of Sun plays a very important roles in the Vedic Astrology where some of it’s significations are,

1. Signify longevity of a person.

2. Signify the level of achievement by efforts.

3. Signify the level of responsibilities of a person.

4. Signify level of status or position in life.

5. Signify death related issues.

6. Signify the level of appearance ( attractiveness) of a person’s life
    partner.

7. Signify the level of abilities to overcome obstacles from enemies.

Rahu, planet of illusion plays important roles in Vedic Astrology planetary where some of it’s significations are,

1. Signify the past done karma according to placement in Vedic chart.

2. Signify paternal relatives.

3. Signify the level of braveness of a person. (especially if placed in

    Upacaya’s house).

4. Signify desire of a person.

5. Signify modernization.

Ketu, another planet of illusion in Vedic Astrology planetary where some of it’s significations are,

1. Signify the past done karma by placement in Vedic chart.

2. Signify maternal relatives.

3. Signify level of spiritualism own by a person.

4. Signify poverty of life.

Jupiter, the planet of wisdom in Vedic Astrology planetary where some of it’s significations are,

1. Signify education.

2. Signify progeny.

3. Signify sweet or good memorial event.

4. Signify morality of a person

5. Signify spiritual teacher.

6. Signify level of fortunes in life.

Mars, the planet of bravery in Vedic Astrology planetary where some of it’s significations are,

1. Signify level of bravery and physical strength own by a person.

2. Signify younger brothers.

3. Signify land or property.

4. Signify machinery.

5. Signify war or battle ground.
